We are currently recruiting for a support worker who is a car driver for a residential service based in Worthing. The home is a 3 bedded service for young people between the ages of 6 - 14 with autism, severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. The service adopts a multi-disciplinary approach with the aim of enabling the young people to move on to a less intensive service provision

Your role will be to ensure the residents are able to live as independent a life as possible by assisting with their every day duties when needed.

You will need to be flexible with shifts, shift patterns are:

- 07:30 - 15:30
- 08:00 - 22:00
- 21:30 - 08:00
- 15:00 - 22:00

**Information**:

- Location: BN13
- Hourly Rate: £11.00 - £20.00 per hour
- Contract: Full time/Part time
- Start Date: On completion of recruitment process

**Your duties as a Support Worker**:

- Eating out
- Dropping young people to school
- Visit to local parks
- Encourage new skill development
- Activities (bowling, cinema, swimming)
- Empowering residents to be as independent as possible
- Listening to music
- Attending appointments
- Personal care support
- Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include - but not be limited to - finances, shopping, cooking, cleaning etc)

- A minimum of 6 months UK care experience
- Car Driver (Essential)
- Able to work in the UK and can show documents
- Full enhanced DBS
- Up to date CV
- Travelling distance to post code area
- Flexible to be on rota
