We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Retail Assistant to become a valuable member of our team at our specialized sign design company. In this role, you will have a significant impact by delivering outstanding customer service and assistance in a vibrant retail setting. Your responsibilities will include guiding customers with their queries, aiding them in selecting the perfect signage solutions for their businesses, and enhancing the overall prosperity of our store.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about our company's signage products and services.
- Help customers choose the right sign design solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized retail store environment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of products.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and goals set by the company.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.

**Requirements**:

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of design concepts and signage materials is a plus.
- organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
