**Contract Type: Permanent**

The Retail Senior Supervisor is responsible for overviewing Gift Shop retail outlet operations on a day-to-day basis as well as overseeing all retail outlets and supervising the Retail Team by providing an outstanding retail experience for guests.

You would assume overall responsibility for the co-ordination and overseeing of all the retail outlet operations in the absence of the Retail Manager

With our guests at the heart of everything we do, you will be required to work closely with other departmental managers to ensure that the best possible product is delivered at all times to all guests.

You are expected to be a role model on delivering exceptional guest interactions whilst
- To manage the operations of the retail department to the standards set out by the company
- Undertake key holder duties
- Arrange the team rotas
- Train and develop the team to be organised in storage of stock in back store rooms
- Ensure that 10-minute retail briefs are taking place every morning to set up the day
- Take overall responsibility for ensuring that the procedures for full opening and close down of all retail outlets are completed, actioning any points that are raised from these checks
- To comply with company’s cash handling policy regarding floats and access to the safe
- Looking after our VIP guests and our Annual Pass Holders
- Sharing your Park Knowledge to answer queries from our guests

Previous retail supervisory or management experience is necessary. We will provide training on our systems and processes, but a passion for customer service and a great attitude towards learning new things is a must.
- Be an experienced team leader/supervisor
- Have an eye for detail Display and the ability to go the extra mile on a daily basis
- Well presented with a professional manner and appearance
- Display confidence in leading a team
- Have great organisational skills
- Display confidence in dealing with the public
- Possess an ability to work independently and as part of a larger team and enjoy sharing a passion for giving a great guest experience

This is a seasonal position that requires you to be available to work weekends, during school holiday periods as well as bank holidays.

Our hours of work in this department are between 08:00 and 21:00, hours will be rostered in advance. Flexibility is also required from you to meet peak and off-peak demands of our opening.
