Our 90 acre Shropshire site consists of an extensive Sculpture Park, Cafe/Restaurant (perfect for the team coffee mornings), Showrooms, Workshops, Offices and Distribution Centre.

**The main duties include (but not limited to)**:

- Management and responsibility for the day to day company finances & accounting using Xero and Sage (legacy) accounting software.
- Management of accounts team members
- Management of the purchase and sales ledger ensuring high levels of accuracy
- Processing of financial transactions
- Managing company payroll & VAT returns
- Managing bank reconciliations and financial planning and forecasting
- Managing overseas financial transactions
- Management of all company accounts and inventory record keeping procedures
- Management of all company accounts procedures and policies including compliance
- Reporting including P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Inventory Analysis etc
- Developing the companies accounting policies and procedures, driving for continuous improvement
- Collaboration with internal and external personnel including our tax account firm
- General accounts related activities

We are looking for someone with previous experience managing company accounts and has completed AAT or higher qualifications.

The role is full time Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and Friday 9am to 5pm, there may be occasion where additional hours or weekend work is required but this is very infrequent.

**We select new team members based on their personality and character, not necessarily those with the longest list of qualifications.**

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
