**Supply Chain Specialist**

Would you like to work for a forward thinking company as part of a team working on the most cutting edge technology? We currently have a vacancy for a Supply Chain Specialist at our site in Samlesbury.

**As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will act as an order book manager and lead and manage the delivery of aircraft repairs to and from suppliers for the Salam Programme. The role is fundamental in supporting our Salam Customer Operational requirements. Interaction with key stakeholders across all business functions is integral to the role.**:
This position will provide you with excellent career opportunities and exposure to be able to work with our key stakeholders and our wider BAE Systems business.

**Your main responsibilities as a Supply Chain Specialist will involve**:

- Manage, interrogate and populate IFS/EES database
- run daily reports to support efficient processing of outstanding repairs, processing of items through Wincanton and shipment to vendor/customer
- Timely Resolution of Query Management, including IEDB’s and IDRs
- Attend order-book reviews with relevant sources of supply, Support Customer and Supplier reviews, and other relevant meetings.
- Identify Risk and propose Mitigation Plans.
- Manage priorities in line with customer arising’s
- Liaise with Leonardo, Euro Fighter, KSA (kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and internal departments to deliver the repair service
- Monthly generations of Performance Packs, using IFS/EES downloads for Order status in support of compilation.
- Present Order Book status as internal and external reviews
- Develop and maintain Processes and Procedures to deliver the business
- Provide support to Team Leader and Repairs Group leader on business related activities

**Your skills and qualifications**:
**Essentials**:

- Knowledge and experience of all aspects of the Supply Chain (and its interface points) is essential to the role.
- Experience of customer and supplier facing order book management in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Must have experience and knowledge using Supply Chain Systems such as AECMA Messaging, EES, IFS
- Must have a breadth of experience working within the Export Repairs environment of the Supply Chain and a proven track record leading and motivating.

**Desirables**:

- Ability to analyse & interpret data trends and understand the impact potential of cumulative risk.

**Location**:
Samlesbury with hybrid working policy in place. Travel may also be required with this role.

**Salary**:
£29,440 + depending on experience
