We're looking for a gas trainer to join the Options Skills team in Wembley, London.

Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

Pre-requisite: Must have relevant and up-to-date qualifications in Core Gas safety, CCN-1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1. Must have a minimum of 5 years in the Gas industry as a technical engineer.

It would be ideal if you have experience or qualifications in training or assessing, but not essential.

**Roles and responsibilities**

Interview prospective learners to ascertain suitability and technical know-how before attending a Gas Managed Learning program.

Take the learner through the course induction, ensuring the learner is aware of:

- Health & Safety policies
- Code of Conduct of the learner while learning
- Course criteria and duration, including Formative and Summative assessments
- Portfolio building and On-site activities

Deliver theory-based training sessions referring to training manuals, Powerpoint presentations, publications, workbooks and technical bulletins.

Delivering practical hands-on training sessions; teaching pipe skills with the installation of various pipe types and configurations. Install, service and commission a range of gas appliances.

Invigilation of Formative and Summative written exam papers.

Assess the learner's competence via Formative and summative practical assessments.

Carry out training admin duties.
