**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily operations of the dining area, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Train and mentor new staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Provide exceptional guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Manage table assignments and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
- Implement upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively assist guests.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution that enhances customer loyalty.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong skills in guest services with an emphasis on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when required.
- A positive attitude with strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.
- Previous experience in food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: £11.54-£11.94 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
