What you'll be doing
**Work closely with Group Risk Manager to execute the risk management strategy**
**You will support the development and promotion of the risk framework as it evolves to meet business needs and keep pace with best practice**
**Supporting the facilitation of the identification, capture, reporting and management of emerging risks across the Group**
**Ensure risk owners/managers are actively involved in identifying, assessing and controlling risks**
**Continually look to improve and enhance risk reporting embedding the process into departments**
**Perpetual auditing/verification of the risk controls**
**Support on Internal Audits linked to the company risk register and key regulatory work**
**Conduct frequent horizon scanning to remain abreast of the ever changing risk environment**
**Act as a point of expert guidance to the wider business on risk related matters**
**You will supply Independent review & challenge of risk registers to ensure all material risks have been identified and managed according to risk appetite and tolerance**
Skills/experience.....
**Expert knowledge of risk management**
**Must be able to act on own initiative, operate at a senior level and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.**
**Logical/detailed approach required with an ability to see tasks through to a conclusion and work to targets/measures.**
**Minimum 5 years experience working at a mid - senior level within a risk role or equivalent**
**Opportunity to work towards professional qualifications in risk**
