ASG provides a wide range of maintenance services to shopping centres, outlets & commercial offices. An exciting opportunity now exists for a hands-on multi-skilled handyperson to join the site based teams working within this growing division.

Reporting directly to our site based SSM (Soft Service Manager) this position is required to work unsupervised delivering a wide range of reactive maintenance tasks such as painting, floor work, joinery, re-lamping, door repairs and a range of high level reactive repairs using the onsite MEWP

**Role**: Site based handyperson

**Location**: St Johns Shopping Centre, Leeds

**Hours**: 20 hours per week - Ideally 3 days per week (some flexibility on the days and hours worked per day)

**Rate of pay**: £13 per hour, which is £1,130 per month - (There could be some opportunity for overtime)

**Key responsibilities include**:

- To provide 20 hours per week of maintenance support
- Some PPM checks on a weekly, monthly basis
- Production of detailed RAMS for all maintenance works
- Daily operational maintenance support to the SSM
- Working through an ongoing list of jobs provided by the SSM
- Ordering stock and materials as required
- Assisting with Health & Safety audits
- Timely and accurate record keeping of all maintenance work completed
- Inventory / asset management of site equipment, as required by the SSM
- Operate within budget constraints on projects and assisting in the preparation of quotes

**Role Criteria**:

- Have previous experience of working within a facility environment - (general painting, joinery, plumbing & electrical awareness)
- IOSH certification would be an advantage - (can be done at a later date)
- IPAF certification for the site owned MEWP
- Demonstrate a highly flexible work attitude
- Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Some knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations
- Project management capability
- Ideally living in the West Yorkshire area

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
