**Behaviour and Attendance Officer**
Contract term: Successful completion of a Probationary Period for 6 months, Permanent thereafter

**Salary**: £15,000.00
Hours: 36 Hours (Term time only)

**Penarth Group School is a Specialist Independent day School for boys and girls and is part of the Penarth Group. It is registered with the Department for Education (DfE) to meet the needs of up to 15 pupils between the ages of 11- 16 years. Admissions are through Authority placements/referrals.**

The Headteacher, along with the Board of Governors at Penarth Group School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented individual to join our school.

- Good OFSTED rating in March 2019.
- The school met all the requirements of the schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014 (‘the independent school standards’) and associated requirements in March 2019 and again in October 2020.
- An upward trend in results, projected to continue.
- Have successful experience, working with and supporting students who have additional and complex needs and behavioural complexities.
- Proactively co-ordinate the necessary administrative duties for school Attendance.
- Have the character and values that align with a school focused both upon inclusivity and striving for much higher achievement and attainment.
- Have high expectations for students and demonstrate a track record of improving outcomes for students.
