**Salary**: Up to £55,000 per annum

We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team in Hertfordshire. As an Internal Auditor, you will be tasked with the critical role of auditing all aspects of the company's operations to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively. This position is key to providing management with reliable and accurate information that will enable them to make sound business decisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial and operational processes across the business.
- Identify areas of risk, evaluate controls and recommend improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports to present findings and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues discovered during audits.
- Ensure that regulatory requirements and industry best practices are adhered to.
- Assist with the development and implementation of internal audit policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in finance, business, accounting or related field.
- A professional qualification such as ACCA or CIA would be an advantage.
- At least 3 years' experience in internal audit or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
