About the Role:
I’m currently working on behalf of a fantastic large primary school in Swindon who are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will be required to work 1:1 with pupils, in addition to assisting the class in activities. This will be a full time role commencing right away and will continue until the end of the end of the academic year. You will work during school hours, 8.30 am - 3.30 pm.

**What the role will include**:

- Getting the classroom ready for lessons
- Listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
- Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
- Providing support to the lead teacher in classroom instruction and management
- Assisting with classroom activities and lessons

**Working with Long-term Teachers**:

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £82.00-£92.00 per day

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
