Coventry University Enterprises Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coventry University Group, and is looking to recruit an Apprentice BMS Engineer to join our Estates and Facilities Team.

**The Role**

Working as part of the Building Management System (BMS) Team under the guidance of the Senior BMS Technician and other trade technicians this role maintains and repairs networks, controllers and devices associated with all plant and equipment within all Group buildings.

This role forms part of a process of development and learning and a formal degree apprenticeship scheme with a significant element of ‘on-the-job’ training. You will be required to attend college and complete required assignments/examinations in order to attain the Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship (Msc) qualification.

Duties could include:

- Provide technical support to Technicians in checking reported faults, major repairs and maintenance activities
- Identify failures, faults and troubles in the BMS and producing comprehensive reports to detail the issue and actions required to resolve. Manage the tasks that arise, carrying out repair, replacement, fault diagnosis or rectification of a wide range of equipment across the campus.
- Manage and resolve complex technical issues identified via the BMS, ensuring that all work undertaken, is carried out to Group standards and following safety legislation

This role will be highly interactive with colleagues and customers, so experience working in a similar environment is required, along with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
