It’s all here for you at Kimberly-Clark; you just need to join us **Your Job** This role is for a Site Materials Leader for the EMEA team, This is a day based role with responsibility to the Mill Operations and Logistics functions covering site contracts, spare parts issues, materials movements, Northfleet Terminal and ship discharge, and all site vehicles. The span of responsibility for the role is across; South Site Engineering Stores, South Site Pulp Yard, Site vehicles, and North Site; Terminal and Pulp Yard, with truck logistics between the two areas. **About You** **Logistics & Materials movements** - Plans and organises the resources within the Terminal to ensure financial and customer service targets are met. - Ship discharges are performed timely and on plan - Cost targets of discharge is reviewed for continuous improvement - Maintain and drive productivity of Terminal team resource - Monitor Sickness and absence levels of terminal - Requires Port Facility Security qualification - Training and qualification process provided by Kimberly Clark **Purchasing** - Lead the key site team for purchasing queries and support query resolution - Work closely with Central Buying Centre, and outsourced Purchasing Partners - Liaise with mill finance and central Accounts Payable functions to ensure vendors and suppliers are paid within KC timings - Maintain all site wide generic contracts - Drive knowledge and understanding of payee and payable processes in your teams SME **Operate and standardize systems and procedures to achieve efficient stock transfer**: - Accurate recording of goods receipt at terminal in SAP - Coordinating required stock and accurate recording of transfers to Mill pulpyard - Ensure adequate turnover of stock FIFO by pulp type - Coordinate receipt and handling at Mill pulpyard - Customer service levels are maintained with no stock out at Mill - No material rejection due to handling **Ensure the implementation of all necessary inventory counts to maintain site pulp materials and planning systems.** - Established stock taking procedures and ensure adherence for all raw and semi-finished materials on site - Counts schedule available and up to date - Stock takes performed on time - Work with tactical pulp planner to order sufficient stock for Paper mill demand and space available - Lead the investigation of significant stock discrepancies in co-operation with Mill Finance Team. Develop skills, attitudes and competencies of your team, and wider influence areas (pulp and Logistics teams) to be willing and able to perform flexibly in both current and future roles. - People development targets - Build flexibility within accountable areas **Ensure housekeeping and safety standards in accountable site areas are observed and improved upon.** - Safety targets across pulp storage areas - Site truck safety standards are met and continuously improved - Improve site cleanliness - Ensure housekeeping standards are adhered to - Monitor pulp weathering to ensure risk of injury is minimized due to expansion or stability **Owns site logistics for material transfer** - Co-ordinate relevant contractor management of site logistics services Truck fleet contract relevant to Mill needs and regularly reviewed - Mill external facilities maintained - capital sustain requirements submitted to engineering - Ensure maintenance of all vehicles under accountable areas - Look for efficiency improvements within contract and cost saving opportunities - Ensure all trucks meet relevant safety performance guidelines - Looks ahead and plans for continuous improvement in all aspects of the department’s work. **Maintain the site internal control system** - Line internal control procedures (FTS) - Good audit reports - Support site continuous improvement - Support site certification adherence (FSC) **Develop and maintains effective networks and relationships internally and externally, to ensure good customer-supplier relationships and effective utilisation of resources** - “Internal" customer satisfaction. - Customer supplier relationships understood - Liaison with business planners - Lia
