**Job Overview**
The Diversity Project Coordinator will manage and oversee projects aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the organization and the wider community. This role will involve coordinating events, developing strategic initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting our DEI goals.

**Duties**
- Develop and implement DEI projects and initiatives aligned with the organization's objectives.

Coordinate and manage events and programs that support underrepresented communities.

Engage with community members, stakeholders, and partners to promote diversity and inclusivity.

Track project milestones and report progress to leadership and other stakeholders.

Assist in developing resources, training sessions, and workshops on DEI topics.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DEI programs, providing insights for improvement.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience coordinating projects, ideally focused on DEI or community engagement.

Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with an ability to multitask.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with diverse groups.

Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.

Desirable Skills

Experience working with communities adversely impacted by systemic inequalities.

Knowledge of local issues and needs within African community and local Scottish communities.

Familiarity with evaluation and reporting methods for DEI projects.
