**Core Responsibility**

Our staff are the core of our business so the Payroll Administrator is key to the successful delivery of a high level of service as agreed and outlined in the contract agreements between G.S. Associates and the Client.

This is a demanding role that will provide excellent opportunities as the company grows.

You will need to have an attention for detail, be proactive, commercially aware, meet deadlines, liaise with people at all levels, work accurately, take responsibility & ownership and respect confidentiality of the staff, the organisation and its clients.

**Main Responsibilities are**

*Ensure submitted timesheets are correct, within budget and submitted in a timely manner

*Arrange payment of staff through the computerised payroll system

*Process new starts & leavers

*Provide advice to staff in relation to pay, PRSI & USC.

*Assist in preparation with payroll records & reports
- Creating and overseeing a merge document in excel using vlookup formulas to insert data.
- Calculation of Holiday pay.
- Completing control checks prior to transmitting the final payroll figures to the Bank(s)
- Completion of various Social Welfare forms and casual dockets.
- ROS administration.
- Complying with all revenue requirements.

*Investigate & resolve payroll queries & problems

**Requirements**:
**EXCEL EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL**
- Previous experience in payroll is recommended
- Building knowledge of Irish compliance
- Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer focused approach (internal & external)
- Flexibility & willingness to participate within a diverse working environment
- Ability to work under own initiative and demonstrate effective problem solving
- Have a good commercial understanding of the business and the impact of areas of failure
