We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader, based in Miller Street Office in Birmingham that will assist managers and supervisors of the depot engineering function to effectively maintain company vehicles and premises in line with DVSA, Company and legislative standards.

**What you'll do...**
- Control daily operations of reserve and Training fleet Engineering Function.
- Report any issues to the Service Support Supervisor / Head of Service Support.
- Monitor Vehicle Performance and report issues
- Maintain a good relationship with Driver Training Function to ensure their requirements are met.
- Manage the Reserve and training team site to ensure it is kept presentable and free from unnecessary risk.
- Ensure all MOT and VI schedules are maintained and monitored.
- Monitor and Control of allocated Trade Plates.
- To carry out the following tasks below on the required or relevant Company vehicles in your garage and to any new vehicles your garage may acquire.
- Diagnose defects and effect repairs to engine, gearbox, chassis, axles, steering and brakes.
- Fault diagnose, using specialist equipment relevant to vehicles in your garage. Welding (gas and mig) and gas cutting with the appropriate qualifications or training.
- Repair vehicles to Company and Statutory standards.
- Repair defects and identify with vehicle types relevant to your garage or place of work.
- Prepare vehicles for the annual test (MOT) and carry out the servicing of all vehicles.
- Service vehicles in accordance with company and vehicle manufacturing specifications and to Company and Statutory standards.
- Maintain documentation as per documented quality procedures and demonstrate flexibility in line with operational requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and conform to health, safety and environmental regulations.
- To assist in the disposal of vehicles and ensure digital data systems are maintained up to date.

**What you'll need**
- Experience in PCV or HGV is essential
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Apprentice trained preferable
