A great opportunity has arisen for a House Manager in an outstanding Retirement Housing Development.
We are looking for a personable House Manager to manage the development and maintain high site standards whilst delivering exceptional customer service to homeowners and site contractors. As the main on-site contact, the House Manager will be highly visibleto provide a reassuring presence and will conduct daily welfare checks for all homeowners.
Main responsibilities include:
- Completing all Health and Safety checks and risk assessments and ensuring all recommended actions are completed within the deadline provided.
- Maintaining site standards; including communal lounges, cleaning the guest suite and all gardens and grounds.
- Monitoring finances and raising invoices when required.
- Liaising with contractors to ensure all works are completed in a safe and timely manner, while continuing communication with residents.
- Coordinating with the out of hours service during emergencies.
- Maintaining a clear understanding of the development’s lease, and be vigilant of any breaches, escalating where appropriate in line with procedures.
You must have previous experience in a customer-facing environment with a strong passion for providing excellent customer service, experience of health and safety compliance including risk assessments and previous experience of managing budgets and administeringinvoices. You must also have a caring nature and be able to provide empathy to residents, whilst being professional and confidential and have good problem solving skills.
This is a part-time permanent position - Monday to Friday
Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
