Spire Cardiff Hospital are looking to bring on a Cleaner to join their Theatre department. You would be responsible for **cleaning the operating theatres surrounding areas within the department and if required, support the Housekeeping Team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout other areas of the hospital.**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To ensure Theatres, Endoscopy and surrounding areas are clean using specialised equipment (e.g. scrubber, pick up, buffer etc.).
- Emptying bins and dealing with soiled laundry. Stocking up of disposables where necessary throughout Theatres and Endoscopy.
- Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.
- Support the Housekeeping Team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout other areas of the hospital, as required.
- Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
- **Who we're looking for**
- Although there are no formal qualifications required, you must have previously come from a Cleaner position ideally '“ having exposure cleaning within a healthcare environment would be highly desirable but it is not essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with all customers
- Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical and flexible approach to work.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness.
