My client, a large and prestigious public sector organisation based in Lancashire is looking to appoint an experienced HR Systems professional.
Working within a large and busy HR department and reporting directly into the HR Systems Manager, you will support the HR Systems team and senior stakeholders with a wide range of duties, including supporting effective HR, Recruitment and Payroll Services throughfurther implementation and optimisation of the HR Information System and associated business processes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your existing HRIS experience within a friendly and highly supportive HR department. You will play an integral part in further creating first class systems and developing high-end reporting.
Key responsibilities of the HR Systems Officer:
- Oversee the production of management information for both internal and external contacts and ensure statutory data returns and annual surveys are completed accurately and on time.
- Lead on the modification and creation of aspects of information stems for example, changing modules within the HR software system.
- Maximise the utilisation of HR systems to automate standard processes.
- Assist with reviewing and documenting processes undertaken within HR and making recommendations for their development.
- Assist with the management of systems and reporting including, documenting the configuration of the systems, generate, automate and produce operational reports and MI and assist with the functionality of data processing and process flows.
- Support the HR Systems & Data Manager in the management of the program of work and activities undertaken by the HRIS team.
- Cover for the absence of the HR Systems & Data Manager
- Day to day supervision of the HR Systems Assistants, including effective delegation and allocation of tasks.
Key requirements for the HR Systems Officer:
- It is essential that you have experience working within a similar HR systems role or you are a HR professional with an interest and aptitude for HRIS.
- You must have experience of writing and analysing complex data reports and a working knowledge of HR/Payroll/Recruitment systems.
- You will have personal resilience and pride yourself on being able to adapt and respond well to change.
- You will be highly organised individual who is solutions focussed and is able to manage pressure effectively and cope well with setbacks.
- Ideally you will have a mixture of both public sector/not-for-profit with commercial experience. However, what is essential is that you have experience of working within a fast paced, complex organisation.
- You will be strong communicator who can confidently engage with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels and be able to challenge the status quo.
- You will have the ability to work autonomously as well as working and contributing to a wider HRIS team.
