Purpletribe in association with Kent County Council, the NHS & Medway Council are currently looking for passionate, caring, and reliable individuals to work as Personal Assistants (PA) to support individuals with care and social activities to enable themto remain independent at home.

**What does a personal assistant do?**

**A PA is someone who supports individual employers with a variety of day-to-day activities, including but not limited to**:

- Personal care, washing and bathing
- Cooking and preparing food
- Meeting people, socialising and leisure activities
- Shopping
- Taking prescribed medicine
- Getting to and using the toilet
- Banking, paying bills, collecting pensions or benefits.

Packages typically range from £9.50 - £12.50 per hour, but this can increase depending on the complexity and needs of the individual.

With regards to working hours, PA’s can work for just one client or multiple clients. Most PA’s love the flexibility and freedom of choice, and you can decide what’s best for you and your personal circumstances.
