Due to the continued growth of the business, there is a need to increase the team to ensure that our customers received the best attention we can give them.

**Job Purpose**

As part of the optimisations team you will not be on full scale implementations but rather be part of a team that delivers small projects and optimisations to existing customers. Your time will be spent mainly delivering consultancy and optimisations on AX2012 and D365FO but earlier versions may also be involved.

Due to the nature of the job you will be required to have broad knowledge of AX modules including finance, trade and logistics, stock, warehousing, procurement and sourcing etc.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise with clients to analyse business processes, clarify customer requirements and determine the scope of required solution.
- Business Process design/mapping and documentation
- Deliver and implement optimisations (including but not limited to, new functionality, training, existing business process reviews) to customers using D365 and prior versions of AX
- Deliver all consultancy work in a timely manner, keeping internal and external parties updated with progress (Including the use of internal and customer DevOPS where required)
- The creation of high quality and sustainable client solutions
- Meet customer expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour
- Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary
- Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally
- Achieve above-minimum levels of chargeable utilisation and charge-out rates
- Participate in pre-sales activities as requested
- To carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by Head of Optimisations department.
- In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal process and requirements as per the Company Handbook and operate in such a manner as to conform to the Company’s Quality System.
- Represent HSO in a professional and positive manner at all times
- Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment
- Ensure that all Microsoft Certifications and Accreditations required to fulfil this role within HSO are met as determined by you and the Head of Optimisations
- Optimisations work is not full project work, and it will be reasonable for consultants to be working on a number of different customer optimisations at the same time

**Location**

You will be based out of one of our regional offices, Manchester, Glasgow or Reading, although as appropriate travel to client sites and the other HSO offices will be required
**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Expertise in providing consultancy over multiple modules in an D365FO / AX environment
- Experience with Dynamics D365FO / AX in a Consulting or End User role
- Adept at Business Requirement Analysis
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills

**Desirable**

Experience of either Finance, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Retail, Rental or Advanced Warehouse functionality
- Pre-sales experience
- Project Management experience

Business process mapping, modelling and documentation knowledge
