**Ops Rigor Governance and Control Manager**
**Glasgow**

As a Barclays Ops Governance and Control Manager, your role is to coordinate, monitor, and better articulate our draft responses for various Control/BIC packs for each business. You will act as the TTRO SteerCo Secretariat and manage any follow up actions required. You will also be responsible in monitoring our jiras, ensuring they are raised in line with our Risk model and thus control and co-ordinate any resulting TTR ORACs, actions and Flashes and any other risk and urgent deliveries on behalf of Global team such as TARC/OPAL etc.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Being the point of contact for all Global TTR Governance, Control and Service deliveries
- Leading and improving the content of business and stakeholder updates confidently
- Coordinating the production of the pack, reviewing and improving the quality of its content competently
- Attending all Risk and Control calls for TTR actively
- Acting as the point of contact for Service delivery items such as SLAs and Work drivers
- Coordinating ad hoc tasks and working with regulation owners to ensure that they complete all required tasks such as TARC/OPAL

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven ability to communicate competently and actively across all levels/functions of the org and to document responses
- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders across multiple functions to achieve consensus on way ahead/resolution
- Proven ability to work across regulation and owners to ensure specific regulatory responses are understood, on track and delivered
- Broad experience ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Proven ability to track and co-ordinate on a number of requirements to timely resolution
- Excellent grasp of Global regulations, aptitude and desire to learn
- Great interpersonal skills and prior knowledge of a Governance, Risk and Control environment
- Proven Senior stakeholder management experience to deliver a strengthened relationship
