Data Scientist - Renewable Energy
Fully Remote
South West or London Offices if you would like to be office based
Salary anywhere between £45 - 60k depending on experience
CPS are working with a rapidly expanding South West based Renewable Energy business with exciting growth plans over the next 2-3 years having recently received another large piece of funding.
The organization are accelerating the transition to net-zero and with that have an excellent opportunity for a Data Scientist to join the team.
You can be fully remote with the Data Science team based in locations across Europe. Or if you would prefer some human interaction then you can work within either the Bristol or London offices as often or as little as you would like.
The role:

- Be heavily involved in data manipulation of large datasets through the use of analytical tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL, VBA, Python, R) and a willingness to learn new languages
- Build models which can run in the cloud and enhance the capabilities of the Company's world-class energy solutions portfolio
- Creating, building and maintaining analytical tools through programming to generate insight, recognize trends / patterns
- Developing and delivering programming initiatives that increase automation and enhance testing
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
Skills / experience:

- Some experience within a similar Data Scientist role
- Technical skills within Python, R, SQL
- Any Data Visualisation experience a benefit
- Degree educated (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering
- Experienced in modelling techniques
- Experience in scientific or engineering fields would be an advantage
- Experience working in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
