Envision AESC have joined forces with Nissan and Sunderland City Council as part of the "Nissan EV36Zero’ project that’ll see not only a new, fully electric car pumped out of the Wearside factory, but a whole battery Gigafactory and solar farms to help it runcleanly. **Role**: - Supplier Quality Management activities - full lifecycle - RFQ through to series production. - Experience and understanding of raw materials and chemical processes. - Understand project requirements and having worked within the automotive industry, managing APQP and PPAPs for supplier preparation, trial, and launch activities. - Supplier audit, improvement, development. - Manage product/process change requirements with suppliers. - Generate technical and management reports. - Liaising with technical employees on a global scale to support manufacture. **Person Specification**: - Minimum HNC or above in suitable engineering discipline. - Utilise knowledge of automotive industry. - Experience working with IATF16949. - Continuous improvement mindset. - Flexibility to work and travel (including overseas) at short notice, including shift work. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved at the beginning of the development of the North East's first Gigafactory and play a key role in the delivery of cutting-edge technology into a brand new plant. This role can offer future scope for developmentand progression.
