**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, equipment, and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.66-£13.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
