Sellick Partnership are working with a Higher Education institution to recruit a Business Analyst. This role is a two year fixed term contract and is a great opportunity to join a busy and fun team.
The Business Analyst's duties will be -- To lead the delivery of a consistent and professional service, ensuring customer service excellence, aligned to the University's Strategy. Ensure compliance with regulatory framework and consider the wider implications for the University to support operationaland strategic decision making.
- Contribute to service development and innovation; review and implement policies/ procedures and, standards for the area; analyse and interpret management information; undertake benchmarking and incorporate customer feedback mechanisms to deliver continuousimprovement.
- Working collaboratively across professional services, to ensure consistent and high quality service provision; lead and participate in internal/external networks and communities of practice; provide influence on project/ working groups and meetings.
- Embody the University's values both within and outside the organisation, role modelling behaviour and encourage equality, diversity and inclusion. Promote equality of opportunity and diversity in the provision of relevant services.
- Promote flexibility across Professional Services to accommodate peak periods and adapt to changing demands in service delivery. Support and contribute to the University's annual programme of activities, e.g. Open Days, Course Information Days, clearing,enrolment and graduation.
- Promote and embed the culture and vision of Professional Services, demonstrating a commitment to the ongoing development of self and others.
The Business Analyst will -- Experience of leading and managing analysis activity using approaches to elicit opportunities, requirements and solutions that meet business and user needs, including utilising iterative methods to enable rapid delivery.
- Experience of carrying out a range of highly complex business analysis and modelling activities such as reviewing or creating datasets, creating business requirements documentation, developing user journeys and use cases, drawing process maps, and coordinatinguser testing.
- Experience of supporting the development and dissemination of tool kits, analysis reports and project documents.
- Experience of developing and delivering engagement, collaboration and knowledge sharing events such as workshops, task teams and training sessions.
- Experience of drafting reports and providing advice and guidance to senior managers and internal/ external stakeholders to support decision making
- Experience of working effectively in an environment of complex regulations and procedures (e.g. data protection regulations)
- Experience of using business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
