Our client has an exemplary track record of designing innovative, sustainable and energy efficient solutions, that minimise the use of natural resources. You will be joining leading sustainability & building physics team which is an integral part of the organisation.

Looking for a motivated Sustainability Consultant to join our join our world leading sustainability team, and to work with high profile-built environment businesses in the UK and around the world on setting long term ESG strategies. You will utilise and develop your knowledge of ESG issues facing construction and property businesses. To develop ESG strategies to support clients strategy implementation across their operations. You will have the opportunity to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy over time as we support the development of your professional skills including professional chartership.

**Your Responsibilities**

The role will include supporting and developing our sustainability services, including:

- Corporate ESG strategies
- Bespoke sustainable development and asset management frameworks
- Carbon foot printing and Science Based Targets
- Net zero carbon corporate road maps
- Climate change risk assessments

**Role Requirements**
- Educated to Masters level in Engineering or the Built Environment.
- Experience of building physics, particularly in relation to heat transfer, energy, thermal comfort and natural ventilation.
- Understanding of Parametric Modelling Techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo), or at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB)
- You will have knowledge and experience of relevant ESG frameworks such as

UN SDGs

UN PRI

Greenhouse Gas Protocol

Science-Based Targets

TCFD

CDP

GRESB
- A working knowledge of climate-based day lighting analysis, operational energy calculation using TM54.
- Understanding of Engineering Optimisation Techniques (Desirable)
- BREEAM (Desirable)
- life cycle carbon costing (Desirable)
- Passion for sustainable design.
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders.
