Laboratory Analyst

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst to join a company in the healthcare industry at their site based in Irvine on a contract basis for 6 months.
**Salary**:
£13.30 ph PAYE

Our client is a science-led global healthcare company with a special purpose to improve the quality of human life. This manufacturing plant supplies toothpaste, mouthwash and creams to over 20 countries worldwide.
**Location**:
Irvine. The facility manufactures antibiotics on site and is home to over 300 employees. It is committed to becoming a net zero emissions site and investing significantly in solar and wind power in order to achieve that target.

**Laboratory Analyst Role**:

- Sample, test, report and validate final products, intermediates, raw materials and in-process samples.
- Operate to Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices to ensure compliant testing.
- Maintain and calibrate a wide range of analytical equipment.
- Identify, participate and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Operation of routine Laboratory Information Systems to interpret results.
**Your Background**:

- Degree or equivalent in a Scientific discipline or equivalent working knowledge
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of data handling laboratory systems and QMS (Quality Management Systems)
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage
