**The role**

Decarbonising aviation is one of MAG’s seven strategic priorities. As the Decarbonisation Programme Lead you will plan, prioritise and manage the delivery of the decarbonisation programme, working closely with internal stakeholders and taking account of the external environment. You will provide project management expertise to ensure the effective delivery of activity to achieve MAG’s science-based climate targets ensuring the integration of the decarbonisation programme activities within capital delivery programmes. You will support the education and awareness raising of MAG’s colleagues and partners in relation to our decarbonisation programmes and present to airport-leadership level Project Boards on progress against plan for programme, budget, risks and opportunities.

**What will make you successful in the role?**

You will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to develop and execute actionable plans, manage your own time effectively and lead projects. You will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects with a strong passion for sustainability and willingness to develop expertise on climate change. Relationships are key in this role and so you’ll be comfortable building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have a strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis techniques, utilising KPIs to track progress, measure success and inform strategic decision making. A Professional Body membership (e.g. Association for Project Management, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) is desirable.
