Warehouse Operative

Established in 1965, the Lockwood Group is a family run business and currently has over 350 employees spanning 7 UK sites. The group’s activities include UK haulage and storage, frozen food production and co-packing solutions.

We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to be based at our Denby site. Previous warehousing experience or experience of a similar role is essential. Must have warehouse knowledge, be motivated and able to work on own initiative.

**About the Warehouse Operative role**:
Working hours are 06:00 to 18:00, operating on a 4 on 4 off days basis. Salary will be from £10.80, dependant upon licences held. PPT, FLT or/and VNA licences/experience would be advantageous but not essential **(minimum of 1 licence must be held to trigger interview process)**. Applicants will also need a full UK driving licence and checkable references.

**As Warehouse Operative with the Lockwood Group you will be**:

- Loading & unloading vehicles
- Booking in stock
- Putting stock into location
- Picking & packing stock
- Use of handheld scanners
- Use of warehouse systems
- Other general warehouse duties

**Skills and experience we’re looking for in our Warehouse Operative**:

- VNA Man Up - Very Narrow Aisle Truck (would have to be happy with heights)
- PPT - Powered Pallet Truck (THIS IS A STAND ON, ELECTRIC PALLET TRUCK)
- FLT Counterbalance
- Able to work well under pressured environment
