The Hyperacute Stroke Unit is set over Ward B3 / B4, delivering care for patients whom have suffered a stroke.

At Salford Royal we aim to deliver Safe, Clean and Personal care every time and are committed in continuously striving to improve the care and services we deliver to our patients. The Hyperacute Stroke Unit has achieved and maintained SCAPE status as assessed through the Trust Nursing Assessment and Accreditation System.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated Clinical Support Workers to join the team on HASU. You will be supported within the role with on-going training which includes the Stroke Foundation Program and completion of specific stroke competencies. You will work alongside Nursing staff, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

**You will need to be able to demonstrate**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Aspire to deliver excellent standards of care
- Work collaboratively with all members of the MDT
- Deliver patient centered care with dignity and respect
- Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients and those that matter to the patient.
