**Python Developer**

Location: Leeds with £70-80k Salary

**Overview**

Our client is a FTSE 250 global leader in IT services generating over £12 billion as a consulting practice with a rich client portfolio. Joining this dynamic team as a **Python Developer** will provide you with the opportunity on working with digital government cliental shaping the future of their digital environment on projects that have major impact to society.

**As a Python Developer you will**:

- Be proactive in selecting the appropriate software development tools and methods
- Develop well engineered outcomes to agreed standards
- Self-review own work and that of their colleagues
- Work within a variety of disciplines from: Deigning, coding, verifying, Testing, documenting and amending programmes and integration software services.
- Collaboratively work within an agile team in tackling an array of technical issues

**The Successful Python Developer skillset will be**:

- A minimum of 5 years commercial experience using Python
- Experience using Linux and Ubuntu
- A seasoned backend developer experienced with large request volumes or data processing pipelines
- Experience with docker and cloud infrastructure such as AWS
- Proficient in using tools for testing, build and deployment pipelines
- Sound understanding of logging, monitoring and alerting tools
