As a result of rapidly increasing student numbers, an ‘Outstanding’ and high achieving Secondary School in Hemel Hempstead is seeking to appoint a highly effective and inspirational Vice Principal.
This ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School are looking for a strong Vice Principal to join as part of the expansion of the Senior Leadership Team. You will have the unique opportunity to help plot the direction of travel and define the school improvement strategy over the coming months and years.

- Vice Principal
- Working in an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School
- Ensuring students make excellent progress through careful tracking and a bespoke curriculum
- Deputising for the Principal as and when necessary
- Providing, within the Senior Leadership Team, strategic leadership for the school
- Providing support for the Principal, staff and students
- Permanent Contract
- Competitive pay - L6 + (depending on experience)
- Located in Hemel Hempstead
**PERSON SPECIFICATION - Vice Principal**
- **Must have UK QTS and experience working in schools at middle or senior leadership level**:
- Have the ability to inspire, challenge and support students and staff to ensure they perform at the highest levels
- Have the capacity to enable students to make outstanding progress
- Experience of implementing effective raising attainment strategies
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of the whole young person, through a personalised approach to education and pastoral care
- Committed to a supportive but challenging ethos and culture
- Thrive on working in teams but be able to work independently
- Committed to a comprehensive Education Enrichment Programme
- Constantly challenge yourself to become a better teacher and leader
