**Behaviour Support Worker / Inclusion Support Worker**

**Location: Specialist School, Halifax, Calderdale**

**Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30**

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the skills and experience to support students with challenging behaviour? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Behaviour Support Worker at a specialist school in Leeds.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Support Class Teacher**:Take direction from the class teacher and support where needed.
- **Support Students**: Work closely with students who exhibit challenging behaviour, providing them with the necessary support to thrive academically, emotionally and socially.
- **Behaviour Management**: Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
- **Individual Plans**: Develop and follow individual behaviour plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Direct or transferable experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to manage challenging behaviour.
- **Qualifications**: Additional training or qualifications such as Team Teach or MAPPA or PRICE are highly desirable.
- **Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and resilience.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £85.00-£95.00 per day
