**Sales Administrator**

Based at our distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, G.A.P Convenience Distribution is part of the James Hall & Co. Family and have been established for over 43 years proudly serving the forecourt and convenience sector across the UK.

**About the Role**

This will be a Sales Administrator role relating to building and maintaining excellent working relationships with our customers whilst continually striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and to support the G.A.P Sales Team. This is an entry level role and a fantastic opportunity to become part of a fast growing and innovative business.

**Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing**

You will be provided with full training and support, and you will play a key role in supporting our sales team in their duties. These will vary from day to day but in general you can expect to:

- Running reports to help the sales manager analyse category performance.
- Supporting the sales and office manager with general administration.
- Administrative support for the G.A.P sales team across a variety of tasks.

We are looking for an individual who is organised, reliable and hungry for an opportunity to learn and develop within a fast growing company. Some of the attributes you will need are:- Positive and adopts a ‘can do’ attitude to challenging situations
- Takes responsibility for the challenge and looks for options and solutions to overcome obstacles
- Personal motivation, showing a personal drive for overall team success
- Strong previous experience in a customer service environment.
- Ability to prioritise and manage varied workload in a fast paced working environment.
- Is enthusiastic, passionate and energetic whilst consistently striving to exceed expectations
- Ability to communicate effectively with external customers
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft package (excel, word, power point)
- Demonstrates good time management
- Ability to work well within a team
- Understanding of general office duties
