Lead Tech Test Engineer

**Are you a Tester looking for a new challenge?** - The delivery and implementation of testing services in the more traditional and emerging hybrid / Agile arena - The development of Strategies and approaches - The creation of Test Estimates and Definition Documents - The execution of Test Scripts, along with the management of defects - The final Evaluation and Reporting of the results Part of this Role will include the verification and validation of the Quarterly Cloud/Fusion Application releases by Oracle, these releases will need to be understood and impacted prior to their implementation and regression testing. All new functionalitiesand features in each release will require functional, non-functional and User assessments as well as assurance that any "down-stream apps" remain unaffected. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Delivery of test services in accordance with mandated standards and established Test Strategies - To provide expertise and knowledge to the building and maintenance of a test service including test environments, regression test packs and test data - To design acceptance tests aligned to the acceptance criteria and provide assurance that all acceptance criteria are met, using a variety of testing methods - To document and verify test results - The management of any defects or bugs - To produce Test Reports and contribute to overall reporting cycles - Has responsibility over the work allocated to them - To maintain and develop knowledge, skills and competencies in test automation and tooling **ESSENTIAL SKILLS** - ISEB or ISTQB accreditation - Manual IT Infrastructure testing, Consisting of Windows / Linux, both Virtual and physical | Clients (win 2010(+) & Centos 7(+)) | servers (win2012R2- 2019) - Competent in the production of all forms of documentation utilising the standard Microsoft Office suite. - Strong communication and coaching skills - Works in a Methodical, organised and structured manner - Collaborative team worker **DESIRABLE (NICE TO HAVE)** - Good experience in the testing of Cloud/Fusion Applications - Experience in AGILE / Dev-ops test - Ops environment - DV Cleared (or is potentially looking to obtain DV or higher) - TDD - Performance, Volume, load and Stress Testing - Security / penetration testing (CEH) - ITIL 4 or equivalent - SharePoint knowledge - MCSE / MCSA (relevant MCPs) certified - PRINCE 2 Foundation or equivalent.
