Vision are looking for Teaching Assistants for multiple positions in a SEND school in Darlington.

**About the role**:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the classroom teacher with small groups of children with various and complex difficulties. These will include PMLD, ASC, behavioural challenges, MLD and SEMH.

Delivering pre-planned work and ensuring children are safe and included. Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents. Having high levels of enthusiasm, motivation and resilience is important.

**About the school**:
This is a large school with a child centred approach and the role will include group and one to one work. The school is a specialist provider for children aged 2-19 and are looking for teaching assistants to work across the school. With state of the art facilities, the schools provides personalised, inclusive provision and is increasing in size, hence the need for more assistants. This is a supply cover role with the opportunity for a permanent contract at the end.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

- Have some experience of positive behaviour management
- Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- Calm and empathetic approach

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Experience of working with children in a classroom setting
