We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Colchester Institute, Colchester, CO3 3LL

- Part time - 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday with weekends off
- Term time only - 31 working weeks per year
- Shifts ranging between 10am - 2pm

**What you'll be doing**
- Prepare and serve food and beverages
- Coffee making
- General kitchen duties
- Basic food preperation
- General kitchen duties
- Operating the till, taking payments and keep any financial records required
- Clean front and back of house areas
- Stocking up and stock rotation
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
- Undertake relevant training as required

**Experience**
- Previous catering/hospitality experience is desirable however full training will be given
- Good customer service skills
- Problem solver and thinks on their feet
- Excellent customer service skills and a great team player

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Work Location: In person
