**The Company**

Our client is a creative agency focusing on commercial production, filmmaking, and photography. Their shoots range everywhere and anywhere from product photography to large-scale film productions on location around the world. **The Role**

We are looking for an experienced filmmaker to join their expanding team. With a client list that ranges from local small businesses to world famous faces, and a high-speed schedule that shows no sign of slowing down, there has never been a better time to join this talented crew.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing creative ideas for shoots depending on requirement/responsibility for handover of shoots when acting as filmmaker.
- Act as a self-shooting filmmaker on shoots that require one and preparing media for shoots.
- Keeping kit reservations up to date, liaising with individual team members to avoid clashes/reporting clashes.
- Forward planning of equipment allocation to support the entire team.
- Keeping track of new and emerging technologies.
- Pre-planning elements of a shoot within the lighting department, such as writing crew briefings, checking kit scope, and ensuring kit requirement stays within budget.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of shoots on set, tending to client requests.
- Following schedules and assisting on organisational tasks with production team.
- Liaising with third parties to organise additional equipment where necessary, as well as departments.
- Ensuring operational protocol and systems are always followed and creating risk assessments for pre-lights, shoots, and projects.
- Ensuring the team follow correct safe-working systems whilst working on set and in the studio space.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Driving License and access to your own vehicle.
- Drone operating experience is desirable.
- Gimbal operating experience is desirable.
- Experience being responsible for final film output/client comms.
- A problem solver with a positive mindset who wants to grow with the company.
- Experience interviewing/shooting talking heads.
- Good knowledge of social media, a creative flair developing and producing social content.
- Understanding of a mixture range of lighting setups.
- Experience collaborating with production teams and clients, and an understanding of shoot etiquette.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Cheltenham, Gloucestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
