**Pay Rate**: £11.50 Per Hour

10 Hours Per Week

**Location**: Albion Way, Horsham, West Sussex

Parking On Site (FREE)

**Shift Pattern**:
**Monday - Friday 18:30 - 20:30**

**(1.5 Hours Cleaning 0.5 Hours Non Working Supervisor)**

**Reports To**: Account Manager

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
The **Cleaning** **Operative** is to provide efficient and effective **cleaning** support to the NHS healthcare provider & your team.

Provide an outstanding **cleaning** service to our clients, ensure health and safety regulations are always met. Activities include **cleaning**, hygiene and infection control, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other tasks as required to comply with site specification standards.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Cleaning Operatives **are expected to fulfil certain duties and responsibilities. These duties include but are not limited to**:
▪ Dusting, sweeping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply / storerooms.

▪ Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, hand towels)

▪ Washing cleaning cloths, reusable mop heads and dusters (vacuuming sweeper heads)

▪ Maintaining all materials and equipment in good / clean working order and reporting any defects / repairs.

▪ Ordering new supplies, when necessary, via your assigned manager / supervisor.

▪ Emptying rubbish bins including clinical waste where applicable and disposing of correctly in line with the policies and procedures.

▪ Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats and unclogging sinks.

▪ Responding to any reactive tasks that may present and rectify any issues raised promptly and efficiently.

▪ Complete daily / weekly site specification tick sheets as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
▪ 2+ Years previous cleaning experience in a similar area of contract cleaning preferably to supervisory level.

▪ Fluent English spoken and written language

▪ Health & Safety knowledge / understanding of COSHH

▪ Live in the UK and have the Right to Work.
