**The opportunity**

We are looking for someone to join our Independent Nuclear Assurance (INA) Function as a Central Evaluator, with the role focus being within Organisational Capability Programme.

Working in a team of nine, you will be providing regulation and programme coordination across Organisational Capability, Management of Change, Performance Improvement (Training, Organisational Learning, Nuclear Safety Culture), Leadership Development and Human Resources and, whilst assuring compliance with nuclear licence conditions 7, 9, 10, 12 and 36.

Alongside a salary ranging from £81,263 - £110,723, we offer a competitive benefits package, including a company pension scheme, and a wide range of flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle.

We’re talking about everything from enhanced parental leave to electric vehicle leasing, health insurance to product discounts, critical illness insurance to technology vouchers, gym membership to season ticket loans.

At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility while recognising that everyone's working needs are different. Whether you're in our office spaces, on site, or working remotely, we promote an environment that supports collaboration, connection, and comfort. No matter where you are, our priority is to make sure you feel safe, valued, and celebrated.

Here, we do right by each other and everyone’s welcome. We’re on an action-oriented journey, championing equity, diversity, and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.

We take pride in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment, where the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees drive fresh thinking and innovation. We understand that success means different things to different people. We believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we support you to pursue a career that’s unique to you. Because success is personal.

**What you’ll be doing**

In this role, you’ll develop meaningful insights that influence senior leaders to take action on performance and compliance issues within Central Support Functions (CSF) and across the wider nuclear fleet. Your ability to analyse and communicate complex information will be key to driving improvements where they matter most.

You’ll lead surveillance teams across stations and CSF, providing robust oversight in your areas of expertise. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, you'll ensure that oversight activities are focused, impactful, and aligned with organisational priorities.

Acting as a key interface with external regulators and the organisation, you’ll help maintain strong relationships and ensure transparency. You’ll also build a broad network of leaders across the fleet and central teams, enabling you to deliver challenging messages constructively and effectively.

Beyond your core responsibilities, you’ll play a vital role in supporting or leading regulatory activities across the organisation. When required, you’ll step in with delegated authority for the Fleet and Centre Regulatory Oversight Group Head, helping to steer critical decisions and maintain strategic oversight.

**Who you are**

As a minimum, you will hold a HNC or equivalent.

You bring experience in organisational capability—whether through change management, leadership development, performance improvement, or HR—within a regulated industry. Ideally, you’ve played a key role in major change within a large, technical organisation.

Proactive and emotionally intelligent, you think independently, develop valuable insights, and influence at all levels. You’re confident delivering difficult messages that lead to real action, and experience working with regulators is a plus.

**To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC) which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last 5 years.**

Applications for this role close on the 29th June
