Payroll Advisor

Job Introduction
We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Advisor to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
This is your chance to make a real impact, ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time while contributing to the continuous improvement of our payroll systems
Job Overview
- Process pay (including statutory payments) and corresponding documentation
- Distribution of payroll reports to work locations
- Upload pension data and action opt outs and refunds
- Assist with the reconciliation of financial summaries and control accounts
- Process CHAPS payments
- Complete and submit P32
- Import and check holiday pay top up
- Audit payroll data
- Maintenance of confidentiality of information in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and practices
Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Ideally, you’ll have payroll experience, particularly in high-volume settings, but we’re open to those with relevant transferable skills.
- A strong understanding of tax, national insurance, and HMRC frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Experience in fast-paced, demanding environments.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software.
About The Company

Package
- 6-Months Fixed Term
- £26,000 - £31,421 Dependent on Experience.
- Based at our Liverpool Head Office
- 28 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days upon 5 years’ service (inclusive of bank holidays)
