Senior Construction Associate

We are currently working with a multi-service, boutique law firm who are looking to hire a senior non-contentious construction associate to join their friendly team.
Our client can trace their origins back to 2002 following a merger between two firms. As a result they are now in growth mode and central to this is a strategic hire for their construction team.
The Firm
- Firm has grown from 30/35 people pre-covid to 62 people today
- Great office location. Based in Marylebone.
- The lawyers in the team are top class and have come from a myriad of international firms including A&O, Squire Patton Boggs, Clyde & Co.
- Low staff turnover.
- Collegiate and friendly. They have bi-monthly socials, which have included a recent, all expenses paid trip to Paris
The Role
- They are flexible on PQE, but you must be able to demonstrate experience in JCT contracts, joint ventures, developments, property contracts and forward funding agreements.
- You must also have a detailed working understanding of development agreements.
- You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and time management.
**Requirements**:
- A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
- Commercially aware with some exposure to business development, with the ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships
- Able to develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
- Able to contribute to the collaborative culture, with an ambition to assist in the development of junior team members
