We are currently looking for a** Shop Floor Operative** based at our **Shrewsbury **location.

The job holder will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and operating light manufacturing machinery ensuring the efficient running of production for the Tectoniks business.

**Duties include, but not limited to**:

- Manual handling and lifting materials
- Operating, maintaining and monitoring light manufacturing machinery ensuring that machinery is maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
- Acquiring, and maintaining specialist knowledge of products and production processes.
- When required, undertake occasional site work and installation of units on third-party premises.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as instructed by the shop floor foreman or Managing Director.
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are observed.
- You will be based at the Shrewsbury site, but you may be required to work off-site for installation work, which may require staying away from home at the companies expense.
- A current Driving license
- Experience within a similar working environment
- Attention to detail
- A good work ethic
- An ability to work independently at a high standard, with a great degree of care and initiative
