**Software Test Analyst - Hybrid/York - Up to £42k - Manual - Flexitime core hours - once a month in the office**

**The Role**

The company offer the opportunity to play an integral role in a consistently successful tech team. From developers to testers to product owners, you will be surrounded by experts of their own fields, offering the chance to not only work in unison with butto also gain hands on exposure to all the different aspects the tech team has to offer. You'll be involved in every step of the project lifecycle, giving you the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge on the systems and software's required to plan your testcases. With an automation team around you, the role will also give you exposure to the automation side of testing, through responsibilities such as maintaining automation test scripts.

**Essential Skills**
- **Experience working with Agile practices**:

- **Experience using management software such as, TFS, JIRA and Azure DevOps**:

- **Understanding of writing test scripts in BDD**:

- **Creating and managing your own test plans and strategies**:

- **Experience of a variety of testing types, such as, functional, integration and regression**

**Even Better If's**:

- **Previous exposure to or an interest in automation testing**:

- **Exposure to maintaining automation test scripts**:

- **Exposure or experience with coding and software writing**:

- **Proficiency querying SQL databases**:

- **Proficient using API test tools such as Postman**
