Mead Farm Foods Ltd is a small family run dairy farm, passionate about local people being able to access local & fresh produce.
**This role can also be suitable for someone who is experienced baker as well as someone with some basis baking skills and willing to learn how to make bread.**
**You need to be willing to take initiative in researching recipes and developing the range of products for the business.**
**This role can be part time and full time, day time & afternoon hours, no night shift.**
Pay is depending on experience.
It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in fast moving environment and to be part of the small team supporting each other.
This job is physically demanding and very active with high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
**You need to be reliable **and flexible as some shifts may have different start time and alternating every other week.

- **Essential Skills**:
- Experience in baking and bread making or willing to learn making bread.
- The ability to work on new project, being openminded and creative.
- Looking after costs and wastage or products.
- Have a good eye for detail to ensure accuracy and precision.
- High standard of hygiene and basic knowledge of food safety standards.
- Positive attitude possessing high levels of commitment and motivation.
- Forward thinking and possessing a can-do attitude.
- Willing to learn and develop within the business.
- Reliability.
- **Essential Job Duties**:
- Baking products to a high standard.
- Cleaning the workstation and ensuring that all equipment is sanitised and maintained thigh level of cleaninines
- Keeping accurate records or production, food safety - temperatures, cleaning etc.
- Responsible for ordering stock and maintaining optimum stock levels.
- Involved in designing and improving recipes.
- Creating new products
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
