Vida Education are looking for dedicated and passionate people to join our busy team for **Cover Supervisor **work across local Secondary Schools.

**WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A COVER SUPERVISOR**

**DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- Delivering work that has been pre-set by the class teacher.
- Managing the behaviour of pupils to ensure they are kept on track with the pre-set work.
- Responding to any questions from pupils during the lesson.
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures.
- Reporting back any issues using the schools’ policies on the behaviour of pupils during the class and any issues arising.

**YOU WILL NEED**:

- To be highly flexible - bookings come in at any time during the day, especially early in the mornings.
- To have excellent communication skills.
- To be confident leading a classroom environment with a large group of pupils, some of whom may display challenging behaviour.
- To have previous experience working with, coaching or volunteering with children.
