Storeroom Controller

Job Title: Storeroom coordinator

At Design and Supply we are looking for an experienced storeroom clerk.

Within our manufacturing facility you will be required to possess adequate fitness and stamina in line with good manual handling skills. Organisational skills, attention to detail and maintain focus must be a strong attribute, also able to perform a job within a team environment and able to work alone. Punctuality and a good work ethic is a must, staying on task and operating to daily production goals, with these skills along with onsite training/supervision there will be a bright future for you at Design and Supply Ltd.
- Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
- Practicing FIFO
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
- Has experience within a storeroom environment in a warehouse before
- Has substantial warehousing experience
