We are looking for an experienced receptionist for our Acute hospital here in Bury St Edmunds. The role is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours across a shift pattern of 7 days between 8am and 8:30pm
**Main duties of the job**:
Wedgwood House, located within the grounds of West Suffolk Hospital is looking for an extremely professional, conscientious, calm and confident individual to be a part of the Reception / Administration Team.
Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given for the specific role and ours systems.

**Essential criteria**:
- Diploma / equivalent secretarial experience intermediate
- NVQ 2 Customer Services or equivalent
**Desirable criteria**:
- Knowledge of Trust electronic records system
**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Understanding and experience of working with a full range of secretarial proceedures and systems gained through practice at intermediate level
- Working on own initiative with mínimal supervision. Working under pressure.
- Ability to work with senior members of staff across a large organisation.
**Knowledge**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent
- Maintaining administrative / secretarial systems
**Desirable criteria**:
- Knowledge of NHS policy / procedures.
